The Pre-Professional Program curriculum offers serious ballet students the highest caliber of intensive classical training, augmented by a rich diversity of dance forms necessary to meet the eclectic demands of today’s dance companies. Belliston Academy of Ballet and its affiliates are proud to offer this exciting new product to its line of services.
Thus preparing students for a variety of professional careers to include, but not limited too:
Professional Classical Dancers
Musical Theatre Professionals
Choreographers
Professional and Accredited Teaching Positions
Health and Therapy Professionals
College Scholarships
And Many More!
Auditions ~ Will consist of a master ballet class and an interview to determine the level of commitment the student possesses. A recent member from one of the country’s largest ballet companies will administer this audition. These auditions will be held on August 19th at 6pm. (There is an audition fee of $15.) Students joining the school after this point may make arrangements for an audition.
Scholarships ~ Are available and will be granted based on the results of the audition. Belliston Ballet will reward scholarships range from $400 to $2000 annually to all students who are qualified by audition and maintain the requirements of the program.
Requirements ~ This is a full dance program which stresses dedication and focus. Adhering to the policies of the program is an essential part of the training. To protect the quality of the program no deviations or exceptions will be tolerated.
Ballet: 3 classes each week for level 6
2 classes each week for levels 3-5
RAD Grades and Majors
CCA Grades (Students examine in both disciplines)
Pointe, Pointe Conditioning & Repertoire
Tap, Jazz, Leaps and Turns
Modern & Tumbling
*Classes not in the program will incur a separate charge*
Additional workshops will be provided to Pre-Professional Students at cost.
